Our world continues to be fluid and we will evolve as needed BUT we’re excited and are actively planning the 2021 PGA Jr. League season. We will make adjustments as needed, I will keep you updated.
Registration
Registration begins late January 2021 and will be limited to the first 40 juniors that are officially registered online with the PGA Jr. League. Registration will close on or before 2-10-21. Total Cost is $425 (NOTE: 2.5% processing fee will be added at check out) per junior, due with official PGAJL online registration. After official registration closes, it is refundable if the spot reserved is replaced with a junior on the waitlist and it is prior to the beginning of the season. Program includes: JC Junior Annual Membership, which entitles junior to discounts on green fees, merchandise, and range balls at any of the JC Resorts Properties. Juniors also receive coaching and guidance from PGA Professionals, 7 team matches, team practice sessions, range balls @ team practices and matches, two high-quality Garb jerseys (home and away), bag tag, Performance ball cap, Performance tee-shirt, drawstring bag, and access to the PGA Jr. League Merchandise Store.

Schedule
San Diego County League #1 is run by John Mason, PGA Director of Instruction at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, and Jackie DeWald-Mason, M.Ed., team coach/manager. Matches will begin on Sunday 3-14-21 and continue on Tuesdays @ 4:00pm. Team practices will be held alternate weeks on Wed. or Thurs. from 4-5 pm. The season culminates with the Championship/Consolation matches on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Schedule subject to change based on course availability.
Results from 2020 Season
Results for the 2020 season: Team #1 (Reed Arnaldo, Mia Clausen, Matthew Lee, Hana McGarry, Gavin McGeehan, Michael Riebe, Luke Sanchez, Ryan Zhao, Claire Zhong) won the 2020 San Diego County League #1 Team Championship on July 16, 2020, at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. The 2020 SDCL#1 did not field an All-Star team due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We did, however, complete the regular season and Team #1 won the Championship (see above). Starting back up in June, after a 2-month break for the COVID pandemic, the league resumed with 36 golfers being outside playing golf, practicing safe social distancing, and having all sorts of fun! Team #1’s Michael Riebe, earned the SDCL #1’s Most Valuable Player. Michael was the only returning All-Star from last year’s league, where we made it to the Southwest Regional in Las Vegas but came upon a shot short of going to the Nationals. Unfortunately, we did not have a post-season this year, but Michael stayed with his team and helped them capture the 2020 League Title. His dedication to his team, leadership. consistency, great play all season long, and his wonderful attitude during these trying times are a testament to his character.
2018 PGA Junior League National Champions
